CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District is making improvements to bring comfort to patrons attending the mega vaccination drive thru clinics on Friday, January 15 and Saturday January 16 starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds, 1213 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, Robstown, Texas.

The Health District will again have portable restrooms on site for patrons. Newly added for Friday and Saturday will be food trucks located in vehicle staging areas allowing patrons to buy food and beverage. There also is a nearby Whataburger restaurant that provides food service options.

The Health District anticipates there will be a wait time as 2,500 vaccinations will be given both days. As wait times are expected, be mindful of medication(s) you may need while waiting for vaccination. Patrons are encouraged to bring something to keep them busy. Some suggestions include:

  • Medications
  • Books
  • Puzzles
  • Videos
  • Snacks
