Upcoming Vacancies for January
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi has numerous boards, commissions and committees which strive to reflect the diverse interests and abilities of our citizens. Due to the November 3, 2020 election, the City Council is postponing board appointments beginning 30 days before the election and extending until the new Council is sworn in. The City is still seeking a pool of applicants to fill vacant positions as soon as possible after the new Council is seated.
The City Secretary’s Office is currently seeking applications for the following boards:
- Civil Service Board
- Civil Service Commission
- Committee for Persons with Disabilities
- Construction Trade Advisory & Appeals Board
- Corpus Christi Commission on Children & Youth
- Island Strategic Action Committee
- Port of Corpus Christi Authority of Nueces County, TX
- Reinvestment Zone No. 4 Board
- Senior Corps Advisory Committee
- Sister City Committee
