Serve Corpus Christi – Make a Difference

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi has numerous boards, commissions and committees which strive to reflect the diverse interests and abilities of our citizens. Due to the November 3, 2020 election, the City Council is postponing board appointments beginning 30 days before the election and extending until the new Council is sworn in. The City is still seeking a pool of applicants to fill vacant positions as soon as possible after the new Council is seated.

The City Secretary’s Office is currently seeking applications for the following boards:

• Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation
• Marina Advisory Committee
• Port of Corpus Christi Authority of Nueces County, TX
• Watershore and Beach Advisory Committee

(NEW POLICY:  All individuals considered for appointment by the City Council to a board, commission or committee must have an application on file in the Office of the City Secretary not later than the 14TH calendar day before the date appointments are considered by City Council.)
