CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi has numerous boards, commissions and committees which strive to reflect the diverse interests and abilities of our citizens. Due to the November 3, 2020 election, the City Council is postponing board appointments beginning 30 days before the election and extending until the new Council is sworn in. The City is still seeking a pool of applicants to fill vacant positions as soon as possible after the new Council is seated.
The City Secretary’s Office is currently seeking applications for the following boards:
- Citizens Advisory Health Board
- Civil Service Board
- Civil Service Commission
- Commission on Children and Youth
- Construction Trade Advisory and Appeals Board
- Crime Control & Prevention District
- Landmark Commission
- Library Board
- Regional Health Awareness Board
- Reinvestment Zone No. 4
