CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – This week’s COVID-19 briefing will take place Wednesday, October 7, at 5 p.m. with continued daily statistics released by email and posted online at www.cctexas.com/coronavirus. The change is necessary to accommodate the virtual desal town hall sessions on Tuesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 8 at 6 p.m.

The Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi team will brief the public on a Task Force team project to create prediction modeling for the local effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The presentation will provide an analysis of COVID-19 cases in the Coastal Bend Region and updated modeling projections for our area.

The briefing will return to its normal day and time on Tuesday, October 13 at 5 p.m.

The city is requesting only one media representative from each outlet. The public and the media are encouraged to view the briefing live on any of the following communication channels:
