City of Corpus Christi Reopens Additional Gulf Beaches Access Roads

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – As the effects of Tropical Storm Beta continue to subside locally, the City of Corpus Christi announces Gulf Beach Access Roads 2, 3 and Whitecap Beach will be opened to vehicle traffic as follows:  

• Whitecap Beach and Access Road 2 are now open
• Access Road 3 will be opened by 5:00 p.m.

All City Gulf Beach access roads will be opened by the end of today.

Beach visitors are urged to use caution if driving on the beach as driving lanes in these areas have not yet been cleared of debris or graded.
