CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – – City, County, and Public Health District officials will have a news briefing to inform the public and the media about the latest COVID-19 local information.

The city is requesting only one media representative from each outlet. The public and the media are encouraged to view the briefing live on any of the following communication channels:

This is not a public gathering.

*** Reminder: The live COVID-19 briefings take place twice weekly. This week on Tuesday, August 18 and Thursday, August 20 at 5 p.m. with continued daily statistics released by email and posted online at www.cctexas.com/coronavirus. The change is necessary to accommodate workshops and public town hall sessions on the City’s Proposed 2021 Operating and Capital Budgets.

The Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi Modeling Task Force will present prediction modeling on the local effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday, August 20.
