2019 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report

Report available online for public viewing

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Water Utilities Department presents the 2019 Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. Also known as the Consumer Confidence Report, it is required that the document be issued to customers of the City of Corpus Christi water distribution system by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The report is being delivered to customers in their June utility bills.

The TCEQ regulates our drinking water. The information itemized in the report lists all the federally regulated or monitored contaminants. The U.S. EPA requires water systems to test for up to 97 contaminants. Per the regulation, the data presented in this report is from the most recently completed testing.

The report and past reports are available online at www.corpuschristiwater.com. The report is also available in Spanish. Additional printed copies can be obtained at the Utilities Department located at 2726 Holly Road, Corpus Christi, Texas.

The Corpus Christi Water Utilities Department proudly continues to maintain recognition as a Superior Rated Water System by the TCEQ. As of 2019, only about 700 out of 7,024 water systems in Texas were rated Superior, making Corpus Christi a part of the top 10% of water systems in the state.
