Firefighters Return to Duty

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Corpus Christi Fire Captain and six firefighters placed in self-monitoring yesterday due to potential COVID-19 exposure have been released from isolation following negative test results.

The Captain's family member was tested today for COVID-19 and the results returned negative for the virus. All have returned to regular duty.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to ensuring the safety of first responders and will take necessary action to protect personnel, their families, and the community.
