Update: City has Isolated Wastewater Discharge Near Oso Bay

No Water Boil Issued for City Treated Water

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi has not issued a water boil advisory for municipal water customers.

Yesterday, City crews responded to a report of a fish kill from a wastewater discharge in Cullen creek adjacent to the Oso Wastewater Treatment Plant. Crews have isolated the area and continue to work to determine the exact cause of the incident.

The City has confirmed there is only one water well in the area. The City is working with the owner to ensure safety of the water well.

To reaffirm, the City of Corpus Christi has not issued a water boil advisory for municipal water customers.
