CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – One of the most valuable life lessons for any child (and adult) is to learn how to play well with others and have fun.
The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation will offer its Spring 2020 Mini-Dribbler Co-Ed Basketball League that is specially designed for children ages 3-5. The concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, and having fun will be emphasized over winning. This team-structured sport will serve as an introduction to basketball, as well as promote a lifestyle of recreational sports to youth at an early age.
The league is for boys and girls ages 3 to 5 (as of March 1, 2020). The five-game season will run from March 21–April 18, 2020. The children will be taught the fundamental skills through drills, such as how to dribble, shoot, and pass, in a well-supervised and fun environment.
