New Traffic Signals at Nile Drive/McArdle Road and Ennis Joslin Drive/McArdle Road Intersections

NOTE: ACTIVATION IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER, EMERGENCY WORK, OR OTHER CURRENT EVENTS.

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Street Operations Department is reminding drivers to be aware of the new traffic signals at the Nile Drive/McArdle Road and Ennis Joslin Road/McArdle Road intersections. City contractors have finished installations at both locations and the traffic signals are ready to be turned on.

The traffic signal at the intersection of Nile Drive and McArdle Road has been in flashing mode for the past week. This traffic signal will be fully activated on Wednesday, December 11, 2019.

The traffic signal at the intersection of McArdle Road and Ennis Joslin Road will be turned on to flashing mode only. Traffic signals for Ennis Joslin Road will be flashing amber (yellow) while traffic signals for McArdle Road will be flashing red for several days to allow motorists to adjust and become aware of the new traffic signals.

Safety is a top priority, so motorists are reminded to be aware of the posted speed limits and be aware of pedestrians within the signalized intersections.
