Temporary Road Closures

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The following lane closures are scheduled to begin this week, weather permitting:

New Holly Road (CobbFendley) `

• Starting Wednesday, November 20, 2019, contractors will be performing temporary lane closures, between Greenwood and the SH 286 frontage road, to perform subsurface utility engineering (SUE).  Flaggers should be present to guide traffic around the closures. Work should last approximately a week.

New Bronco Road (Industrial Site Services, LLC)

• Starting Thursday November 21, 2019, contractors will be implementing a daily temporary lane closure of the northbound lane at the intersection of Sedwick Road.  Flaggers should be present to direct traffic around the closure. Work is expected to last approximately 2 weeks.

New Coopers Alley (ADB)

• Starting Friday November 22, 2019, contractors will be implementing daily temporary lane closures of the eastbound and westbound outer parking lanes of Coopers Alley between North Shoreline Boulevard to South Water Street. Work is expected to last approximately a week.  

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone and follow detour signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways and side streets will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
