Winter 2020 Youth Basketball League

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department will start accepting registration from girls and boys ages 6 to 17 (as of December 31, 2019) for its Winter 2020 Youth Basketball League. This eight-game season league will run from January 18 to March 7, 2020.

ONLINE REGISTRATION will be offered from October 7–December 1, 2019, at register.ccparkandrec.com for $80.00 per person. LATE ONLINE REGISTRATION will be offered December 2–December 15, 2019, for a $105.00 late fee per person. SCHOLARSHIPS are available for up to 25 players who qualify for financial assistance. Scholarship applications must be submitted in person at the Ben Garza Gym, 1815 Howard Street.

Our computer-generated system will place players on teams, so there will not be an evaluation. Coaches are allowed only one protected player on their team, their child.

Through weekly practice and games, all players will have the opportunity to improve and test their skills against their competitors. This structured team sport will help them to develop physically, socially and mentally—all valuable skills that will serve them on and off the court.
