Tortoise & the Hare Fun Run at the Preserve

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center will be hosting its 2^nd annual “Tortoise & the Hare Fun Run” on Saturday, December 1, at 8:30 a.m. There will be a 5K route for adults and interested kids, and a shorter one-mile race for those with little legs!

The run will start in the parking lot of the Preserve and continue onto North Oso Parkway and through the nature trails. Sign-in time will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the 5K starting at 8:30 a.m. and the 1-mile beginning shortly afterward. The Preserve is located at 2446 N. Oso Parkway.

REGISTRATION: All persons who are registered between now and November 15 for the $20 Early Bird Registration will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Regular Registration will be offered November 16-19 for $25. The 1-mile race is $12. Event participants are invited to enjoy the learning center, playground and nature trails after the race! Register online today at http://register.ccparkandrec.com.
