City Officials Continue to Monitor La Volla Creek Levels

CORPUS CHRISTI - The City of Corpus Christi continues to closely monitor the ongoing rain and potential flooding threats. City officials have begun notifying the Las Colonias and Ever Green Estates Unit 1 subdivisions of the heightened threat of flooding due to the La Volla creek levels.

City departments including Utilities, Police and Fire will continue to monitor the neighborhoods and provide security for any residents evacuating the area. We ask residents in these areas to have a heightened sense of their surroundings, monitor the news and take action now to protect life and property.

As rains continue, resident throughout Corpus Christi are asked to continue to heed safety warnings especially when flooding conditions are present.
