2018 Labor Day Holiday Schedule

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Most City of Corpus Christi offices including City Hall, libraries and Municipal Court will be closed Labor Day, Monday, September 3. 

Solid Waste Operations:

• Garbage and recycling WILL be collected on Labor Day.

• Heavy Brush WILL NOT be collected on Labor Day.

• The J.C. Elliott Citizens Collection Center will be closed Labor Day.

Animal Care Services: 

• Open Saturday, September 1, 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• Closed Labor Day

The following schedule will be observed at City Parks and Recreation facilities:

Golf Courses:

• Lozano Golf Center - Open regular hours

• Oso Golf Course - Open regular hours

Tennis Centers:

• H-E-B Tennis Center - Closed Labor Day
• Al Kruse Tennis Center - Closed Labor Day

Public Pools: (Holiday Weekend Schedule)

Hours of operation vary by location:

• Collier Pool - Open Labor Day for Lap Swim 5:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

• Natatorium -  Open Labor Day for Lap Swim 5:00 a.m. – 6:30 a.m., 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve & Learning Center:

• Walking trails and playground Open daily, dawn to dusk.

• Learning Center - Saturday, September 1, from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Closed Labor Day

Other Facilities:

Senior Centers: Closed

Recreation Centers: Closed

Cultural Services: The Galvan House will be Closed.

Latchkey: Closed

Gymnasiums: Closed
