Fido Invited to Doggy Paddle Playtime
Bring Your Furry Friend Out to Our Doggy Dip on August 18!
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Get your water-loving canine and come out to have a good time! The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department invites all dogs and their owners to the Annual Doggy Dip on Saturday, August 18, from 10am–1pm at H-E-B Pool, located at 1520 Shely Street (map).
Bring your pup to the pool and join us in marking it the best end-of-summer ever! Not only can you enjoy some quality time with man’s best friend, but it’s also a great way to cool off from the summer heat. The pool is a safe no-leash environment where your pet can jump, swim and play in the water and with other dogs. Each year since 2003, dogs and their humans are thrilled to join in this fun event at our city pools.
Dogs swim at their own risk and that of their owner’s. Any dog owner wishing to participate must provide proof of Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies shots before their dog will be permitted into the pool facility. The leash law will not be in effect; however, unruly pups and pooches will be asked to leave. All owners are expected to clean up after their dog. Females in heat will not be allowed. Pool admission is $6 per dog and one owner (additional owners pay $4 per adult, $1.25 per youth). For more information, call (361) 826-7529.
