Latchkey After School Program 2018–2019

First Opportunity to Pre-Register

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The first opportunity to pre-register for the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Latchkey After School Program is approaching fast! This program is ideal for working parents seeking a safe and convenient place where their children are supervised after school. It is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services. The program will operate during the 2018 – 2019 school year, Monday – Friday, from 3pm – 6pm in conjunction with the CCISD, CISD and FBISD schedules. Registration dates vary for each school district.

Our dynamic and creative staff is trained in child development and age appropriate activities to encourage engagement from the children. All staff are certified in CPR and First Aid. Children build positive self-esteem through their involvement in a wide-range of activities which include recreation and fitness skills. Parents may request reasonable accommodations for their child with disabilities by contacting Mickela Hernandez at (361) 826-3486. For more information about the program, call (361) 826-3499.
