City's Vector Control Unit Working to Combat Mosquitoes
Mosquito Spraying Schedule for July 5 - 8
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City's Vector Control unit is taking precautions to deal with the abundance of mosquitoes brought on by the recent heavy rains and are continuing to spray neighborhoods in an effort to bring us some relief.
Thursday 5 July – Route 27, 28, 29 (Flour Bluff area)
Friday 6 July – Route 11, 30, 31, 32 (Downtown and Padre Island)
Saturday 7 July – Route 21, 23 (Southside)
Sunday 8 July – Route 24, 25, 26 (South-East side)
These schedules are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions and wind speeds.
Workers have also treated standing water in ditches citywide with larvicide and are monitoring mosquito traps posted across the city.
We encourage residents to assist by draining and treating any standing water on their property.
