City Offers Designer Workshops for Aspiring Developers

Learn More About City Requirements and Processes

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX –  Do you have plans for your home or business but don’t know if they meet State and City requirements? Attend one of two Designer Workshops offered to review requirements and processes conducted by the Development Services Department.

These free workshops are intended for individuals looking to submit residential or commercial plans for permitting and inspection and want to submit their own designs, but do not have engineering or architectural backgrounds.

Topics include windstorm requirements, applications, plan reviews and permit requirements, among others. Representatives from the City’s Plan Review staff will be available to answer questions.

There will be two sessions available at the Ben F. McDonald Public Library, 4044 Greenwood Drive from 1 to 4 p.m. The first session is on Friday, June 15, and the second session is on Tuesday, July 10. You are encouraged to RSVP as seating is limited to the first 40 participants.
