Museum of Science and History Set to Re-open After Repairs

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The wait is almost over as preparations are underway for the re-opening of the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History! The Museum will officially open to the public on Tuesday, May 15.

Last October, the museum temporarily closed to protect the public and employees while building damage was addressed. Various water leaks from rain events resulted in water damage both inside and outside the structure.

On Saturday, May 26, the Museum will host a grand re-opening with an H.E.B. Dollar Day! The event is from 10 am to 5 pm with $1 admission for all guests, no restrictions. Museum members and children two years or younger get in free. The building will be filled with family activities, science shows and food for purchase. H-E-Buddy will also make an appearance!

Reasonable accommodations are provided upon request and in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. For assistance or to request a reasonable accommodation, please call (361) 826-4660 at least 48 hours in advance.
