Utility Business Office Completes Software Transition

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Additional Utility Bill payment options are now available to customers as the City of Corpus Christi’s Utility Business Office’s completes its software transition. Payments can now be made:

  • in person at City Hall,

  • at Corpus Christi H.E.B. stores,

  • online bill pay service through a bank or credit union,

  • by phone,

  • and by mail.

The only option which remains unavailable is the City website payment portal.

A copy of the utility bill (either with old account number or new account number) is required when paying at Corpus Christi H.E.B. stores, as well as by mail.  Payments can also be made by phone or at City Hall with either the old or new account number.

While the Utility Business Office’s software transition went smoothly, the changeover resulted in some bills being sent out with an inaccurate due date of January 5, 2018. Some customers may receive bills after the due date indicated on their bill. Because of this, no late fees will be added and service will not be disconnected due to nonpayment.  Customers are encouraged to call (361) 826-CITY (2489) with any questions on their account.

The City of Corpus Christi Utility Business Office thanks the public for their patience during this transition.
