City Holiday Schedule for Christmas & New Year’s
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Most City of Corpus Christi offices including City Hall, libraries, the Health District, Animal Care Services and Municipal Court will be closed Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1, 2018. Here’s a complete list of City office closings and schedules:
Garbage Collection: There will be no garbage collection on Monday, December 25, and Monday, January 1, 2018. Instead, those residents who usually have their garbage collected on Mondays will have it picked up the Saturday before the holiday, December 23 and December 30, respectively. Garbage will be collected as normal Tuesday through Friday.
Recycling Collection: Recycling collection will take place on Saturday, December 23 and Saturday, December 30 before the holiday. Recycling will be collected as normal Tuesday through Friday.
Brush & Bulky: Brush & bulky items will NOT be collected on Monday, December 25 and Monday January 1, 2018.
Landfill: The Citizens Collection Center, located at the J.C. Elliott Transfer Station, Hwy 286 and Ayers Street, will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Monday January 1, 2018. It will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Animal Care Services: CLOSED Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1, 2018.
Libraries: All Public Libraries will CLOSE at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 23 and reopen for regular operating hours Tuesday, December 26. All locations will CLOSE at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 30 and resume regular business hours on Tuesday, January 2, 2018.
