GET SET FOR LATCHKEY AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM 2017–2018

First Opportunity to Pre-Register is August 10 & 11, 3–6pm

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The first opportunity to pre-register for the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Latchkey After School Program is August 10 and 11, 2017 from 3pm–6pm.

The Latchkey Program is ideal for working parents seeking a licensed after school program that is a safe and convenient place for their children. It will operate during the school year August 28, 2017–May 30, 2018, Monday–Friday, from 3pm–6pm in conjunction with the CCISD, CISD and FBISD schedules. It is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services with all staff certified in CPR and First Aid.

IMPORTANT NEWS FOR PARENTS:  It is very important that all children be pre-registered because registration will not be offered on the first day of school for the Latchkey After School Program. This is required if parents want their children to participate on the first day of school.

Our enthusiastic and energized staff is trained in child development and age appropriate activities designed to engage the children in recreation activities and fitness skills. By involving the children in a wide-range of activities, they gain confidence. Parents may request reasonable accommodations for their child with disabilities by contacting Mickela Hernandez at (361) 826-3486. For more information about the program, call (361) 826-3499.
