Effective public speaking is not easy. However, you can learn this valuable skill by joining a club like Toastmasters. Recently, Federico "Fred" Pena, was honored by the City Manager and a
Toastmaster herself, Margie C. Rose. Pena has reached the level of Distinguished Toastmaster, an honor attained by less than two percent of all club members. During his time with the Toastmasters, Pena
has honed his leadership and communication skills and helped countless others improve their public speaking technique. To become a Distinguished Toastmaster, Pena had to accomplish several goals that included giving a minimum of 37 presentations, with one lasting a minimum of an hour and a half.
