REGISTER EARLY FOR LATCHKEY SUMMER 2016 CAMP
First Opportunity to Register is on May 7 at Corpus Christi Gym
Summer is a great time to keep your child engaged in fun and enrichment activities. As a working parent, you have the added task of finding a program that meets your schedule that is the right fit for your child and budget.
The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Latchkey Summer Camps program features a variety of activities that provide physical and social benefits, as well as outlets for children to explore their creativity and self-express. The camps offer opportunities to discover new interests, develop new friends, and learn positive life skills. Activities include swimming, tennis, arts and crafts, guest speakers and field trips for children ages 5 to 13.
The program is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services which means that Latchkey Camps meet high standards for child care and everyone is certified in CPR and First Aid. Our enthusiastic staff are professionally trained in child development and age appropriate activities. Free lunch and snacks will be provided to all qualifying sites through a grant from the Texas Department of Agriculture. Reasonable accommodations may be requested for a child with disabilities by contacting John Delgado at 361-826-3491.
