Public Meeting with Innovative Budget Program Gives Citizens Opportunity to Balance the City’s General Fund Budget

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Do you know what goes into balancing the City’s budget? Now is your opportunity to be part of the process.

Beginning Wednesday, August 9, 2017, the City will host a series of meetings. An interactive tool called A Balancing Act allows the public to collaborate in real-time to balance a virtual version of the City’s proposed general fund budget in-person, with their smartphone, tablet or personal computer. An English and Spanish version of A Balancing Act can be found on the City’s website www.cctexas.com/balancer.
