Public Meeting for Kostoryz Road Improvements

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The City of Corpus Christi Engineering Services will host a public meeting to discuss and gather feedback in preparation of a street improvement project on Kostoryz Road from Brawner Parkway to Staples St. The public meeting is an opportunity for stakeholders in and around the project to ask questions regarding the construction of this project.

Interested citizens are invited to attend the open house at 5:30 p.m. Thursday July 28 at Lindale Senior Center, 3135 Swantner St. Discussion will follow at 6:00 p.m.

This Bond 2012 project includes full-depth reconstruction of the existing four-lane road with new concrete pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalks, ADA compliant ramps, bus pads, signage and pavement markings. Intersection improvements at Brawner Parkway and Norton Road include new protected left-turn lanes with traffic signal upgrades. The Staples Street intersection improvements include a new dedicated right-turn lane. The sidewalks are 5 feet on the west side and 8 feet on the east side of the roadway to serve as a multi-use path. Utility improvements include water, wastewater, storm water and gas.
