POSTPONED: Oso Bay Turnaround Road Closure for Vegetation Maintenance

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi’s Public Works Department is postponing vegetation maintenance along the eastern portion of the Oso Bay Turnaround due to inclement weather. The Oso Bay Turnaround under State Highway 358 in Flour Bluff was scheduled to be closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Wednesday, July 7 through Thursday, July 8. The maintenance will now begin on Monday, July 12, through Tuesday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Advanced message boards will be in place before the start of vegetation maintenance. Motorists will be diverted from the access road onto State Highway 358 and are encouraged to use the Flour Bluff Drive intersection in lieu of the Oso Bay Turnaround. Maintenance activities are subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled.

Safety is a top priority, so motorists are reminded to be aware of the work zone, follow the posted detour signs, or seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
