CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City of Corpus Christi will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the Corpus Christi Police Training Academy. The new 34,000-square foot facility replaces the current training academy, which was built in 1981.

CCPD Chaplain Antwine Charles will deliver the ceremony’s invocation. The Most Reverend Michael Mulvey, Bishop of the Archdiocese of Corpus Christi, will also be on hand to perform a blessing of the building.
