Old Robstown Road Traffic Signal Activation / School Zone Flashing Beacons

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business that Old Robstown Road is no longer one way and is open to both directions of travel.

The newly installed traffic signal at Old Robstown Road and Up River Road has been activated and is in operation. Traffic approaching the intersection should be prepared to stop, use caution proceeding through the intersection and watch for motorists who may not realize the traffic signal is in operation.

School Zone flashing beacon are currently being installed and will take some time to be activated. Motorist should slow down within the school zone during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.

Various lane closures will continue as final punch list items are addressed.

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area.
