Night Work will Affect Carroll Lane and Staples Street Intersection

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and businesses starting at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, through 8 a.m. Friday, August 3 the following nightly traffic control plan will be implemented:

• Carroll Lane intersection at Staples Street will be closed and traffic will detour around the work zone.
• The closure will start at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and open at 8 a.m. Thursday
• The intersection will again be closed at 8 p.m. Thursday and reopen at 8 a.m. Friday

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone and follow detour signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
