New Roadway Surface Coming to Kostoryz Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – On Wednesday, November 10, City contractors will begin the roadway mill and overlay operations on Kostoryz Road from South Padre Island Drive to Holly Road. These improvements are part of the City’s Street Preventative Maintenance Program. Construction will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is expected to last two weeks.

Construction will begin in the northbound travel lanes. Upon completion of the northbound lanes, the contractor will move construction into the southbound lanes. Flaggers will be utilized, but detours will not be required for this work.

Safety is a top priority, so motorists are reminded to be aware of the work zone, follow the posted detour signs, and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
