CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The City received two National Environmental Achievement Awards from the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA).

The first award was presented to the Utilities Department for its utilization of training and education to ensure staff have opportunities for career development.

The second award was presented to the Communication Department's Multimedia Journalist Eva Padilla for a Public Service Announcement video educating citizens on proper fertilizer usage to prevent water runoff and contamination of our storm water system and bays.
