Municipal Court Director Appointment Announced

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – Interim City Manager Margie C. Rose announced the appointment of Gilbert Hernandez as Municipal Court Director today at the regularly scheduled City Council meeting.

“Mr. Hernandez brings new skills and perspective to our Municipal Court. His experience in multiple cities will help Municipal Court administration improve and meet public expectations,” said Interim City Manager Margie C. Rose.

Mr. Hernandez has over 17 years of municipal court experience and has held various positions including court customer service supervisor, deputy court clerk, senior administrative assistant and court administrator. His most recent experience is as Municipal Court Administrator at the City of McKinney. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master in Management from Texas Wesleyan University.

“I am looking forward to making a difference in Corpus Christi and am honored to be chosen as the new Municipal Court Director,” said Gilbert Hernandez.
