Meet the 2019 Employee of the 2nd Quarter

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Code Enforcement Officer Andrew Garcia has a reputation for clearing a high volume of difficult property cases. He said being chosen by his peers as the Employee of the Second Quarter was humbling.

“I feel my success is due to the whole team from the clerks to the supervisors who provide me with important information and the police department who makes sure we are safe at the properties.”

Garcia’s recognition was announced during a library themed event called, “Knowledge is Power,” put on by the City’s Human Resources Learning Institute.

The Code Enforcement Division keeps all properties in compliance by preventing deterioration of housing and commercial properties through the enforcement and abatement of code violations.
