McDonald Library Temporarily Closed for Repairs

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Ben F. McDonald Public Library located at 4044 Greenwood Drive will be temporarily closed for air conditioning repairs Wednesday, July 31, Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2. The system must be turned off while work is completed. On Wednesday, the library will close it doors at 1 p.m. and reopen at 5:00 p.m. for Pláticas Musicales.

Library staff thanks all patrons for their patience and asks before visiting residents call Saturday, August 3 to confirm the McDonald Library has reopened. As repairs take place, citizens are encouraged to visit one of the City’s other library locations:

• La Retama Central, 805 Comanche Street
• Garcia Public Library, 5930 Brockhampton Street
• Harte Public Library, 2629 Waldron Road
• Neyland Public Library, 1230 Carmel Parkway
• Hopkins Public Library, 3202 McKinzie Street
