Local Government Channel to Rebroadcast Mayor’s State of the City Speech

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – If you missed the Mayor’s State of the City speech, you can soon view it in its entirety on CCTV, the City’s municipal television channel.

Beginning today at 3 p.m., CCTV will rebroadcast the speech. For the next two months, you can see the speech on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

The Mayor’s State of the City speech, a United Chamber of Commerce event, was held on March 28, 2018. The sold out event featured an update on the latest City of Corpus Christi news and developments.

"Our City Council pledged that we would concentrate on the basics - our infrastructure and finances. I trust you will find that my State of the City presentation is informative and portrays ‘the State of the City,’” Mayor Joe McComb said.

“Please take a listen to the video to hear some of the progress made over the last 15 months as the result of the hard work by the staff and to hear about some of the challenges ahead,” he said. “The Council is ready to address these challenges and invite your input and thoughts as we continue to move our city forward.”

CCTV airs a variety of programming featuring information about our City, including various public meetings. CCTV can be found on the following TV channels:
