Celebrate Outdoors With Your Family. Reserve Your Campsite Online Today!

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Only 47 campsites are available at Labonte Park to celebrate your Easter holiday during the week of March 27–April 1, 2018. The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation encourages everyone to make their reservation now to secure a campsite.

Outdoor camping at Labonte Park offers many sport, recreation and play opportunities, like fishing, playing a friendly game of softball or volleyball on the open field and flying a kite or tossing a horseshoe. And who doesn’t enjoy grilling their catch of the day (fish) or hotdogs on the barbeque pit? For some park visitors, this has been a family tradition passed down through three generations or more. For the children, the highlight of the weekend is the Easter egg hunt followed by cracking the cascarones on the heads of family and friends!

The Nueces River runs along Labonte Park which historically been a very popular holiday spot. We ask visitors to take pride in our City park and to please keep it clean, so that everyone will have an enjoyable experience.

The Camping Fee of $25 will be required for up to three days of camping at the park. A second $25 camping permit may also be purchased allowing for up to three additional days of camping. RV campsites are $50 for the first three days of camping and $50 for three additional days. Each campsite will include parking permits for two vehicles. Each additional vehicle will need a $2.00 per day per vehicle permit to enter the park or a weekend pass may be purchased upon entry for $5 per vehicle. Overnight camping is allowed by City ordinance for a maximum of six consecutive days. A day use permit for an individual campsite will also be $25. Camping Fees will offset the cost of trash pick-up and site clean-up required as a result of the holiday camping.
