Health Officials Announce Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Beginning Monday

CORPUS CHRISTI TX - The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District will begin free drive-thru COVID-19 testing at the old Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial site located at 2606 Hospital Boulevard on Monday, August 9 through Thursday, August 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“As COVID-19 cases are rapidly increasing in Nueces County, more people are searching for trusted places to get tested. The Health District will begin testing for our community this week,” said Public Health Director Annette Rodriguez.
Registration is not required, but health officials urge residents to do so to keep the process running smoothly. To register online, visit the City’s website at www.cctexas.com, and then click “COVID-19 TESTING Registration.”
You can also register by calling (361) 826-7200, select ‘option #2’, and staff will register callers for the Covid-19 drive-through testing.
