Health District to Offer More Free Quit Smoking Classes

If you feel it’s time for you to quit smoking, your opportunity has arrived. Free quit smoking classes will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, August 9 and every Tuesday through August 30, 2016, at the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District located at 1702 Horne Road.

All participants can register for the class by calling (361) 826-7267.

The class curriculum is based on American Cancer Society’s Fresh Start Program. Health Education Specialist Noelia Rodriguez and Program Coordinator Luz Saenz will serve as class facilitators. The classes are made possible through the Texas Healthy Communities Program.
