Gollihar and Weber Road Intersection Closure

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents and business beginning Thursday, July 11, the following traffic control plan will be implemented, weather permitting:

• Traffic traveling northbound and southbound on Weber Road will shift to the east side of Weber Road through the Gollihar Road intersection. West side of Weber Road/Gollihar Road intersection will be closed to all traffic.
• Low profile barriers will be installed along the work area prohibiting left turns and through traffic movements.
• Traffic traveling westbound on Gollihar Road, at the Weber Road intersection, will be restricted to a “right only” movement onto northbound Weber Road.
• Traffic traveling eastbound on Gollihar Road, will be detoured at Carroll Lane. Only local traffic will be allowed beyond Carroll Lane. West side of Weber Road/Gollihar Road intersection will be closed to all traffic.

The city reminds drivers to use caution when driving near the work zone and follow detour signs. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to local driveways and side streets will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
