Fall 2015 High School Varsity Basketball League Registration Starts August 10

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is now accepting registration for its Fall 2015 High School Varsity Basketball League. This league is team concept with a boys division and a girls division (Varsity), 8 teams per division. Each team is limited to 12 players. The season will begin the week of September 8 and run through the week of October 10, 2015.

REGISTRATION will be offered as follows:

A) WEEKDAYS Monday–Friday, August 10–23, 2015 from 10am–4pm at Heritage Park in the second floor of the Sidbury House (1609 N. Chaparral St.); $350.00 per team;

B) ONLINE REGISTRATION August 10–23, 2015 for 24-hour convenience at www.ccparkandrec.com (click ‘Register Online’); $350.00 per team;

C) LATE REGISTRATION August 24–30, 2015 from 10am–4pm at Heritage Park in the second floor of the Sidbury House; $375.00 per team.

Participants will obtain a full understanding and importance of the rules and the concept of teamwork. While this program provides structure and knowledge of the sport of basketball, it also promotes positive attitudes and the importance of adapting a lifestyle with recreational activities.
