Experience the City’s History at Old Bayview Cemetery

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Have you ever wanted to experience Corpus Christi’s history and hear about South Texas’ historical figures? Now is your chance as the Corpus Christi Public Libraries present, “Voices of South Texas - Old Bayview Cemetery Comes Alive!”

The free event will give attendees of all ages the chance to witness life in our coastal city during and after the federal occupation of the Civil War. Families will walk through the cemetery and listen as re-enactors tell the stories of settlers buried there.

The event takes place on Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Old Bayview Cemetery, located at the corner of Ramirez Street and Waco Street.
