Early Morning Fire Causes Extensive Damage to Abandoned Warehouse

Structure to be Demolished

Over a dozen CCFD units helped battle the blaze. It took just under two hours to extinguish the fire.

The fire caused heavy structural damage, including a collapsed roof. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A building inspection has determined the structure to be a total loss. The structure has been ordered to be demolished in accordance with the city’s emergency demolition ordinance. The building owner will be notified and has three business days to respond. If no response is received after three days, the City will begin demolition under established guidelines.
