Day of the Woman Event to be held in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health will be hosting Day of the Woman Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi University Center Ballroom, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event is free to the public.
The featured speaker for the event will be Leanne Young, Ph.D., Executive Director for the Brain Performance Institute at the University of Texas at Dallas. Other scheduled speakers include Amy Stark, M.D., Associate Professor of Psychiatry for the Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine, and Time Tate, M.S., Licensed Professional Counselor for South Texas Mental Health Associates in Corpus Christi.
The event is open to women and men free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP by visiting www.laurabushinsititute.org. There will be complimentary refreshments, door prizes, and giveaways.
Day of the Woman is part of an ongoing effort by the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health to encourage and empower women to take control of their unique health care needs.
