Contractors Continue Grout Work on Yorktown Mud Bridge

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – City contractors began repairs to the Yorktown Mud Bridge on January 23. They are now on their 51st working day of what is expected to be a 70-working-day project.

This week, work continues with filling specialized jackets with grout. It will be completed by the end of this week, weather permitting.

Once the grout-filling process is complete, contractors will remove the forms and barges, prepare for surface work, and install guardrails on the bridge.
