CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is celebrating the completion of the Cole Park Pier and Plaza Improvement Project. Work began in February 2021 and was completed this week. Improvements include the new pier and plaza, canopies, lighting, seating, fishing areas and cleaning stations.

The event will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and lighting of the pier will be followed by live music from Cruise Control, hot cocoa, cookies, kids play area, fishing, giveaways and much more.

Join Mayor Paulette M. Guajardo, City Council, and City Manager Peter Zanoni as they open the new pier and plaza to the public and host a community celebration, which can also be viewed live on the following City communication channels.
