City Vows to Provide Water Utility Bill Relief for Customers with High Water Bills caused by Extreme Weather Event

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will be providing emergency water utility bill relief to help its customers who have been impacted by water line breaks caused by this week’s extreme weather event.

The emergency water utility bill relief program also will include details to address higher-than-normal water volumes that will skew Winter Quarter Water Averaging used to determine wastewater monthly charges.

Information and details for the City’s emergency water utility bill relief program will be provided the week of February 22. Currently, the City is focused on continuing its progress in stabilizing the water utility systems and advancing to rescind the City’s water boil order.
